What’s the darkest legal tint in Tennessee?+
Tennessee sets one limit for every tinted window: at least 35% of visible light must pass through, rear glass included. The windshield must stay at 70% or lighter, apart from the manufacturer’s factory shade band. We install to legal spec by default.
Ceramic vs. carbon vs. dyed. Which do I need?+
Dyed (Bronze) is the entry. Carbon (Silver) is our most-installed — doesn’t fade, better heat rejection. Ceramic (Gold or Diamond) is the top — cuts up to 97% of heat, best clarity at night, signal-safe.
Will tint kill my Tesla or newer car’s sensors?+
Not with our films. 3M ceramic and carbon films are engineered metal-free, so no interference with GPS, satellite radio, keyless entry, or Tesla’s cabin sensors.
How long does the install take?+
Standard 4-door sedan is 2 to 3 hours. Trucks, SUVs, and larger vehicles are 3 to 4 hours. Cure time is 3 to 5 days — don’t roll windows down.
Do you tint boats and heavy equipment?+
Yes — one of the few shops in Middle Tennessee that handles both.
Is there a warranty?+
Lifetime on the film — against bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination, and color change. Transferable if you sell the vehicle.
